These Bible based devotionals come out of my real life experiences with marriage, widowhood, remarriage, and the death of an adult child due to mental illness. Also from my experience as a marriage and family counselor for more than 35 years. Presently I am married to Charlene and live in Northeast Florida.

I'm actually not a writer at heart, but I began to get encouraging comments about my writing when I began to write about my first wife's serious illness and subsequent death; a tragedy that deeply impacted my family. Then after that, I began to get positive comments from others, which propelled me to start writing about my experiences and about the Word of God, which I love .

This blog is about how The Word of God and real people intersect (spirit, emotions, mind & body, - I Thessalonians 5:23)
